Relaxing on the beach and at sea

Rostock (LEN) – Getting in the right mood for the Arena European Diving Championships in Rostock: On Tuesday night, the team of host Germany took a boat-ride on the river Warnow. Departing from the harbor of the Hanseatic city and passing the landing stages of ferries and cruise liners, the boat took the team right up to the estuary on the Baltic Sea near Warnemünde. Aboard the ship were the first medal winners of the German team. Together with their team mates Maria Kurjo and Patrick Hausding, both of Berlin, clinked glasses and celebrated their silver medal in the Team Event and a (hopefully) successful European Championships. German media representatives, accredited at the Europeans, were also invited to join the boat ride.

In the afternoon, 12-time European champion Tania Cagnotto and Francesca Dallapè, Cagnotto’s partner in the synchronized 3m platform, as well as compatriot Maicol Verzotto made a trip to the Baltic resort and beaches of Warnemünde. “#dayoff with the girls #chillout #sun #beach #bestfriends #Rostock2015” the three Italian athletes posted on Twitter. On Saturday, Cagnotto and Dallapè will have the chance to secure their seventh consecutive title in the synchronized 3m platform event.
